About the Author of this life

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God’s righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins.

— Romans 3:23-25 (ESV)

For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.

— 1 Timothy 2:5-6 (ESV)

It’s a long video, but it’s worth a watch. God is so much more than our limited ability to describe Him.

God loves us all. He loves you, yes, you. He created you, wonderfully and fearfully, in His image. He loves us so much that while we lived in sin, God sent His only Son to die for us that we can be saved. So we can stand before God with Christ’s perfect résumé and be accepted.

He created us, and we rebelled against Him. Our relationship with God was severed, and the punishment is death, separation from God. The only way to mend it was for someone perfect to take our punishment in our place. God sent His Son Jesus to the earth. Jesus lived perfectly, fully God and fully man. He commit no sin, but died and experienced the punishment of death that we deserved. God rose Him from the dead, victorious over death. And we get to freely choose to accept Jesus’ substitution for us, so that we may live with God eternally.

We all have to make the decision to accept salvation.
